Introduction to Visa Debit Processing Service Fraud Detection Services

This course provides an overview of Visa DPS Fraud Detection Services. Intended for Visa Debit Processing Service clients who use Visa DPS Fraud Detection Services -- in either shared or full service mode -- this course, explains how Falcon and Visa Cardholder Support Services representatives can work together to reduce fraud rates for your institution.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the main components of the Falcon system.
  • Describe the functions of and role of the DPS Cardholder Support Services team.
  • Use the Processing Reporting Service to obtain relevant Falcon reports.

Using the Visa Debit Processing Service Name Match Service

This online course provides an overview of the Visa Debit Processing Service Name Match Service. Content covered in Using the Name Match Service includes a description of the service; how the Name Match file is populated and maintained; operating modes; key reports and how you might use them; and a demonstration of Client Administrative Tools & Services (CATS) Name Match file maintenance.

  • Describe the Name Match Service.
  • Identify Key Name Match Service reports.
  • Inquire about and maintain Name Match File records using the CATS Card and Account Maintenance application.

To access the Visa Business School Online Learning Center, you must have a valid Visa Online user ID and password. If you do not already have a Visa Online user ID and password, you may obtain one by navigating to https://www.volenroll.com/vol/ee.jsp and filling out the online enrollment form. You will need to know your Business ID (BID) to complete the enrollment form. You should receive all relevant information in less than 48 hours. If you have any questions, please contact Visa Online Customer Service at 800-597-8479.

From the Visa Online Homepage at https:\\www.us.visaonline.com, click the Resources link at the top right of the page. Make sure that all popup blockers are disabled. From the Resources page, select Visa Business School in the bottom right hand corner. The Visa Business School will open in new browser window.
